Patron: Dame Zandra Rhodes

Dame Zandra Rhodes is one of Britain's best-known fashion and textile designers. She was made a Commander of the British Empire in 1997, founded the Fashion and Textile Museum in 2003 (now owned by Newham College) and is currently Chancellor of the University of the Creative Arts (UCA). In the 2014 Birthday Honours, Zandra was made Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) for services to British fashion and textiles

Dame Zandra has worked closely with Newham College for many years and is very happy to support the Learning Revolution Trust in its aim to remove the financial barriers to education faced by so many talented young people in east London.

In the 2014 Birthday Honours, Zandra was made Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) for services to British fashion and textiles
